Yoga Teacher training in Rishikesh
Ali Hassan

In the past, I think that the science of yoga is to sit without movement for a long time what looks like magic or

Then I knew after that it also sports bodily strengthens the muscles of the body

But after I joined the School of Yoga (AYM) and progress through the study discovered the yoga is not just a a form of an exercise the body, but path leading to perfect harmony to the body, mind and spirit. Happiness and a peace, which eventually lead to the self-realization, union with the self

Yoga brings the mind to the present moment, improved serenity, and vigilance in the mind. Mind becomes quiet, and able to deal with a daily stress

200 Hrs

My 200 Hrs teacher training course was a very pleasant experience. The school is in a beautiful spot not too far away from town but facing the mountains and away from the hustle and busy roads. The teachers are very knowledgeable and we enjoyed all the classes. I would recommend to anyone searching for the full experience of yogic training to come to AYM.

I really enjoyed everyday of my 1 month 200 hour teacher training here! The course is very well designed and practical, not only can we learn the teaching skills but also how to live a yogic life. After this course I can be a competent yoga teacher everywhere in the world and the knowledge we learned here can benefit my whole life! Teachers and staff are friendly and responsible, we have become like a family. I strongly recommend this school!

did you find any difference in learning asanas here to before you came?

Hatha learning is England varies a lot from what I have encountered in  India. Rarely a teacher will go through alignment with you and focus is on holding poses rather than holding correct alignment of poses. Lessons take a more focused approach, for example teachers will choice a theme of the lesson (i.e . hip opening) and therefore often classes of asanas are missing. The range of abilities in a class varies and sometimes as a result beginners attempt advanced asanas without any understanding of their alignment or method. This leads to injury.
I feel that hatha classes in india at AYM Yoga School provide a more balanced approach to the body, a safer way of learning and a more enjoyable one. I would rather learn the correct alignment of a asana even if it meant that initially  I could hold the pose for a shorter period of time or as a result that the numbers of asana being taught in a yoga class was reduced. I want to teach a safe way of learning with a more traditional basis than what I have accounted in my yoga teaching previously.
